As the flagship of B&W's 800 Series Diamond lineup at the time of its release, the 800 D3 combines a vaporized diamond dome tweeter, a Continuum cone midrange in the distinctive aluminum Turbine Head, and dual 10" Aerofoil bass drivers to deliver true full-range reproduction down to 15Hz without the need for a separate subwoofer. Extensive plywood Matrix bracing and gel-coupled driver compartments virtually eliminate internal resonance and energy transfer between drivers, resulting in exceptional clarity, coherence, and a remarkably transparent, true-to-source presentation across the entire audible spectrum. Rated for up to 1,000 watts of amplification, the 800 D3 rewards pairing with serious, high-current amplification. A genuine flagship-tier loudspeaker, manufactured entirely in B&W's factory in Worthing, England. Shows excellent condition on both units with no notable wear.
