The Technics SU-GX70 is a "Grand Class" network integrated amplifier designed as a comprehensive audio hub for modern living rooms. It uniquely blends high-end hi-fi streaming with video integration through its HDMI ARC port, the first of its kind for a Technics audio product.

The SU-GX70 utilizes a fully digital amplification path to minimize signal degradation.

• Power Output: Delivers 40W per channel into 8 ohms and 80W into 4 ohms. Despite these modest ratings, reviewers note it possesses surprising headroom and can drive demanding speakers effectively.
• JENO Engine: This proprietary technology (Jitter Elimination and Noise-shaping Optimization) is used throughout the signal path, including the HDMI ARC input, to ensure high-resolution clarity and reduce jitter.
• LAPC (Load Adaptive Phase Calibration): An algorithm that measures the impedance and phase characteristics of your connected speakers and optimizes the amplifier's output accordingly.
• Space Tune: A room correction system that offers presets (Free, Wall, Corner, In a Shelf) or a full auto-EQ mode using your smartphone's microphone to adjust for room acoustics. 
  

Connectivity & Streaming
It is designed to be a "just add speakers" system with extensive wired and wireless options. 

• Wireless: Includes built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (SBC/AAC), Apple AirPlay 2, and Google Chromecast.
• Streaming Support: Native integration for Spotify Connect, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music HD, and Deezer via the Technics Audio Center app. It also features an MQA decoder.
• Wired Inputs:
  • Video: 1x HDMI ARC with low-impact video output to prevent noise interference.
  • Analog: 2x Line-in (RCA) and 1x Phono (Moving Magnet) for turntables.
  • Digital: 2x Optical, 1x Coaxial, 1x USB-A (front), and 1x USB-B (rear).
• Outputs: 1x Stereo RCA Pre-out (for a sub or external amp) and a 1/4" Class AA headphone jack.
